When custom-ordering a bracelet, it is crucial that your submitted measurement be accurate.  You'll want your Renate Kasper bracelet to fit more like a watch and less like a bangle.  You know how you check a pet collar by making sure you can fit a couple fingers underneath?  Well, a proper fit with your bracelet should allow you to easily insert your little finger or a basic pencil underneath without popping the magnetic clasp.  When wearing the bracelet, it should move about the wrist ever so slightly, but with not so much slack that it would easily spin around backwards.

Measure your wrist with a strip of cardstock, posterboard or cut it from something

like a cereal box.  A piece of string will not give you a correct measurement.  It's the same principle as when a narrow ring will fit your finger well, but a wide band of the same size seems way too tight.   Cut your strip to be approximately

the same width as the bracelet you want to order.  You may need to tape more than one piece together to get a strip long enough.  Once the strip is overlapped on itself and cinched up to the correct diameter around your wrist, secure the strip to itself with tape.   Wear it a little while.  Does it flop around?  Is it too tight? Double check the fit by doing the pencil or pinky test.  When you get it adjusted to a fit you're happy with, instead of taking the tape apart, simply cut the strip crosswise at any point where it's a single layer, and measure the length of it.
